Whose brilliant idea was it to publish a list of nominees without a single woman on it? Oscar Wilde is a "modern playwright", but Churchill isn't? Gawd, it's as if I woke up this morning back in the 50s, where everyone was sure and repeated incessantly: "There has never been and there never will be a woman who...."
